Good condx on 10m this winter could lead to an interesting ARRL 10 meter contest this year. XV2RZ and XV1X should be active this week end as should be XV4Y and XV9DX but with limited on air time.
Next week-end will see participants from all over the world run in the AA DX Contest organized by JARL. You can expect stations from Vietnam to be active like last years.
As always, XV1X should be the major station. Also listen to XV4Y on 10m and 80m as he may have some spare time for a few QSOs.
These last weeks many stations have been active from Viet-Nam. You could expect a strong participation to this week-end SSB contest.
XV4Y is known to be QRV for CQ WPX Contest but only with reduced time. The strongest effort should be expected from XV1X as usual. Also look for 3W3B, XV2LC, XV2W…
Good luck in the contest!
XV1X’s effort during his participation to last year’s CQ WW DX has been rewarded by the contest jury. You can read the full story on CQ Magazine website. He was in high power category and had 847 QSO for a total score of 404 838 points. It is the best score of the stations in south-east Asia and China, only beaten by 2 stations in Thailand. To be noted, 3W1M was also participating to this edition and has won a certificate too.
At least 3 vietnamese stations were active during last week-end CQ WPX contest. 3W1M, XV2RZ and XV4TUJ participated to the contest, a fourth station also has been heard but not perfectly identified. XV2RZ seems to have demonstrated a serious effort during this contest but his results are not disclosed for now.
